ABOUT - ADDICTION SUPPORT, GRIEF AND PET LOSS
My name is Zuzanna, and I am a counsellor based in Sydney, offering sessions in person, through walk and talk, and online. I work with adults who are navigating emotional challenges, periods of change, and experiences that can feel overwhelming or hard to put into words. Many people come to counselling feeling uncertain, stuck, or conflicted about what they need. My role is to offer a supportive and reflective space where these experiences can be explored safely and without judgment.
HOW I WORK
My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, grounded in respect for each person’s pace, history, and capacity. I believe counselling should be collaborative and humane. Rather than offering quick fixes or prescriptive answers, I focus on building a therapeutic relationship where insight, understanding, and change can develop over time.
You do not need to arrive with clear goals or know exactly what to say. You are welcome to bring whatever feels present, whether that is confusion, pain, uncertainty, or a desire for change. Together, we can explore what is happening beneath the surface and identify what support may feel most helpful.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Alongside general counselling, my work involves supporting people with addiction recovery, grief and loss, including pet loss, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I also bring lived experience into my practice, which shapes the way I engage with complexity, ambivalence, and long-held emotional pain. This allows me to work with care and depth, without assumptions or pressure to change.
